Ford Escort 1.6i Cabriolet (XR3i)

Take a ride into nostalgia with this Ford Escort 1.6i Cabriolet (XR3i). This car is the same as the Escort XR3i Cabriolet but Ford badged it as an Escort 1.6i Cabriolet due to "hot hatch" era back in the 1980's to 1990's. It was found if Ford changed the badge from XR3i to 1.6i the insurance was a lot cheaper. That said the car is the same beast as the XR3i, same 1.6i engine, same gearbox, same XR3i interior, in fact the whole car is the same look. This car also has the RS Turbo alloys fitted to it. Finished in black with a mohair black roof this car has covered 102,590 miles, it has a manual roof, electric windows and central locking. It has 3 keys and an MOT until March 2026.

In the UK today there are 74 taxed XR3i Cabriolet's left on the road and 554 XR3i Cabriolet's sorn. That makes this car becoming extremely rare and and good investment for anyone who buys it.
